hello.
couild anyone tell me anything about working for manufactures? any particualr name is best to work for? i suspect they advertise via agencys, know the name?
what kind of salrys in london? 9-5, no call outs? seems like great way to get experience and have normal 9-5 whilst doing private work on site. sick of working for social housing firms. diaognosing boilers but dont get paid for the job (payment is only for got my engineer who turns up and replaces part!!! crappy callout. i was on 37k servicing now on 30k doing breakdowns!!!!! anyway would appreciate advice

try rig energy, they deal with pretty much all the manufacturers.
You could also try posting in the combustion chamber for some honest answers from the guys working for manufacturers.

Most manufacturers are now looking for people with a few years proven experience on service/breakdowns,worcester bosch like you to have 4 years and vaillant 3 years from the jobs ive seen advertised on various websites,besides rig careerline.co.uk advertise a few aswell.

I was told by Rig that Worcester were looking for 4 years packed with breakdown experience.

Why are you not being paid for the breakdowns you attend presently? surely if you diagnose it right you should be paid?

nope. we go find the fault if the boiler if boiler needs new part then its the engineer who fits part and results in boiler up and running. i get other engineers diagnosis, go and fit part and boiler works. great. but when youve fitted a part and it doesnt work youve just waisted your time. joke. i work for robert heath ltd. 24k basic plus 10 pounds per completed job.alot of guys start then leave particular subbies as tey spending all days diaognising faults butb not getting the bonus payment!!! any social housing conratctors in london tyou recccommend? heard good stuff about oakray. bsw and ph jones 28k a year( a joke) vhl maeant to be good as are rg francis. hugh operations like sealflame/ta horn paying UP TO 14 quid a service, a joke!!!!
