I'VE JUST BOUGHT A MARBLE FIRE SURROUND AND IT CAME TODAY, IN FIVE PIECES. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT ADHESIVE TO USE TO STICK IT TOGETHER AND WHAT TO USE TO STICK IT TO THE WALL. I'M FITTING AN ELECTRIC FIRE IN IT. I THOUGHT IT WOULD OF AT LEAST CAME WITH SOME DIAGRAM OR SOME RECOMMENDED ADHESIVE LIST.ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT, THANKS

matty - I've never fitted one of these but have taken plenty of them out. They were traditionally fixed in place with Plaster of Paris buttered onto the rear surfaces and held to the wall with wire ties (a bit like brick ties). The advantage of P of P is that it sets really fast so the work can be held in place by hand until firm.
