I need roughly 40 m2, and I would like to buy reclaimed blocks. Is it easy to buy several batches of reclaimed blocks to make up my 40m2 and match the colour/texture, or is this not advisable? Should I wait and buy one big batch?

Reclaimed blocks can some from any where, meaning different seizes, height, state of T&G (if any), with or without adhesive (mostly bitumen) on them.
Best to wait for an entire batch of 40 sq m (did you calculate saw-waste, unusable blocks etc in that amount?

Or you could go for new blocks, install them without finishing them, have a party on it to distress them ;) and the apply the finish.
