Matching up cornice

I have built a new wall in place of a door way and have removed the coving in the process.

Any ideas on how i match this coving up with modern stuff ? It is a 1930's house, so old plaster work i think.

There are places around here (Glasgow, so a bit far away i presume) which supply plaster cornice. The one you have looks similar to one which they make/stock. Perhaps try a search for cornice manufacturers in your area? PM me if you want the name of the Glasgow company.

If you square off the cornice cut end you will be able to make a true template outline from which you can get exact dimensions.

You will presumably be returning the inside corner (and perhaps an outside corner) so your best bet is a mitre box or saw.

You will have probably skimmed the ceiling before getting to fix the cornice, so take the few extra mm's into account.
