I've just skimmed one of our new bedrooms - the finish is flat but not perfect - a mixture of skim, sanded skim, easifill and sanded filler - so I'm looking for something that will hide the differences in texture. It'll all be in Matt white. If possible something hard-wearing (I used something from Wickes a few years ago, can't remember what, but claimed to be 20 times tougher - I used in our utility room and have been really impressed with it).

Thanks.

Gardz or acrylic primer undercoat is good to seal/prime surface. What ever you use to coat over will go on a treat.
B&q goodhome paint is durable and sensible money.
B&Q sell a product called basecoat that will fill a bit, however the filler and easyfill may not take that with good results.
