maytag never worked

Hi I bought 2 maytag dishwashers for some apartments and they never worked. I have model number mdbd850aww. Both will fill with water and stop. The lights on the panel work but nothing happens after that. it doen't drain either so I have to syphon out the water after. I am using them in Barbados where the AC current here is 50Hz and not 60Hz like the US. Could this be the problem or could it be something else?

Havn't got a clue don't live in Barbados, Dont fix dishwashers sorry

I think you are in the wrong shop
you have probably got more chance of buying apples in B&Q than getting a sensible answer here.
