Does anyone know if this car ( 1985 RX7 Mk 2 ) has a fuel pump and if so where is it !

Can be sure it's got a fuel pump.
If it's a mechanical one , it'll be on the engine somewhere, if electric will be either under the car by the fuel tank, or maybe in the engine bay.
Easiest way to find it is to follow the fuel lines from the tank to the carburettor, if you can't find it then it's probably inside the tank

I have exactly the same car. Standing at the rear of the car-the pump is on the left side between the wheels but nearer the rear wheel. Slide underneath the car and you will find 2 panels. One for the fuel filter and next to it the fuel pump. It is electrical not mechanical. I have recently had to locate this because i developed a problem with it.

Hi and thanks for your help - i solved the problem by adding another electric pump in the engine compartment and it's worked perfectly ever since! Now the clutch has packed up so it's back to the drawing board!
