MDF 6ft by 6ft

Hi i'm trying to locate a supplier who sells 6ft by 6ft MDF board 18 or 20 mm is fine as its for a computer desk ....

as far as i know you cant get any board bigger than 5x10 ft

a table the size you mention would need a lot of woodwork or metal work underneath to stop it sagging [it will sag under its own weight]

Out of interest I just phoned my supplier and they offered 12' x 6' for £19.70 (18mm thick).

Wouldn't fancy unloading them much!

The supplier is Lawcris in Leeds who deliver all over the place in the North and Midlands.

I would agree with Breezer on this though, you can make an extremely strong joint just butt-joining mdf with a few biscuits
