My loft currently has two velux windows, one at the front one at the back.
Only the front one is a fire escape window.
Were thinking of converting the loft into two bedrooms, putting a stud wall up to divide the front from the back. Would the rear window now have to be changed to a fire escape one?

Sorry, meant to post in floors, stairs & loft.
