Hi,
I have a megaflow (approx 18 months old). When the heating comes on to heat up the hot water I've noticed the overflow pipe leaking water (not loads, but more than a few drips). This pipe is connected to a 'T&P Valve.
It only does it when the boiler is on to heat up the water.
There are instructions on the side of the cylinder that says if you have an 'intermittent' leak of water through the overflow then I need to 'regenerate the internal air gap'
My question is twofold.
1. Is this normal for this type of unit.
2. Can I go ahead and follow the instructions.??
Thanks
