Hi,
Any ideas on how I can remove the panel to access the brake light bulb. There are two 3 pronged plastic nuts which have a torq type centre. Looks as though it should turn by hand but it wont. I have tried pliers but it seems locked solid. Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks.

Thanks John, A slightly different technique....more force, did the trick.
I am not going to attempt the headlight. That can wait until it's serviced.

Aye those three pronged fellas can be tight, but a headlamp! Hmm 1st time I took about 40 minutes with the wheel off, second time better (no wheel off) now down to about 5 mins whichever side! The near side is easier as you can use your right hand (assuming you're right handed!) :p

Halfords do a supply+fit service though not sure if they're wise to Meganes now! Make sure they put the weatherproof cap back in right though as if not they can fall out and a wet electrics is on the cards! :p

Maybe I should buy the best bulbs available to see if that increases the period between when they blow? Thoughts on the Megane forums is that it makes no difference and that Meganes eat bulbs! Just another of their foibles!

I need to replace the bulb on the offside, and I'm not ambidextrous, so will give that a miss. I had heard that the headlamps were tricky.

I find bulbs last longer if you don't switch on the lights and don't use the brakes..only joking.

Monnie ;)
