megane electrics

anyone familiar with the electrics on these heaps?
a workmates megane loses the dash illumination and one side of the head/tail lights from time to time,not sure on the year but i think its the first shape they brought out

switch would be the first thing to look at / change. Also check the fuse isn't loose as there are seperate fuses for left / right hand side

Are you saying that it loses them both at the same time?

ask at www.renaultforums.co.uk and they may be able to help & explain if there is a particular common thing between the two.

Cant see it myself, but you never know.

I am on my 2nd & the electrics are OK (in general).

pretty sure he said both,you have been very lucky to have had 2 without electrical problems
