they are yes. Can you hear any clicking noises from the door area when you operate the window buttons?

can i suggest that before you replace the regulators that you check the wires in the rubber boots between the doors they tend to stretch and fray,then the switches then the motors.

It's highly likely to be the window regs, they are abit of a PITA to change as they are attached to the door card.

9 times out of 10 the reg/motor is fine but what has actually failed is the little black control box that is clipped to the motor of the regulator. IIRC unfortunately you can't buy this bit separate, your only hope for that is a breakers yard!
