I have a cold loft with 300mm of insulation with boards above. The space will only be used for storage. There is no felt under the tiles (1930s house) and as such a lot of dust blows in.

Can anyone recommend a light-weight breathable membrane that I can tack to the underside of the rafters just to keep some of the dust falling onto stuff stored up there but still allowing air to properly circulate?

Many thanks

Try these guys. At the end of the day, as long as it a breathable membrane, then you should be fine. If you're really worried, leaga a gap at the top, and the bottom, but I can't see much moisture getting through 300mm of insulation and boarding. I take it you haven't pushed the insulation down into the eaves and blocked any vent by the soffits.

Perfect. That was exactly the product I was looking at.

Correct, the insulation is clear of the eaves. Ventilation is pretty good.

Thank you.
