I am listening to "Pantera - Vulgar Display Of Power". I last listened to it must be 14 odd years ago. It reminds me of moshing in a rough club in Wolverhampton when I was 16 and smelling poppers. Yeurgh. And trying to "get off" with girls.

What songs/albums remind you of something? And what is that something?

Great plan - the effect of poppers is guaranteed to make you more attractive to the opposite sex..

"Had a Dream", by Roger Hodgson. Listening to it on WAAF whilst driving a rented Ford Mustang down the Massachusetts Turnpike at 120mph, safe in the knowledge that in a few hours time I would be on a plane to the UK.

Later finding out that for a violation of that magnitude (this was when the limit was still 55mph), the police could have arrested me and put me in jail until a court appearance :(

it seems I come across as a "wet blanket" I think....at random moments...but..."Moon River" is a song my mom use to hum while she made dinner. Don't hear it that often anymore except in elevators or such....but it always makes me sad and happy at the same time. I miss her. :)

Isn't there an old joke about someone's girlfriend asking him to kiss her where it smells of fish, so he drives her to Grimsby ? Obviously funnier when someone tells it properly.....

Heaven Can wait - Meatloaf, reminds me of my first boyfriend he was 18 I was 15 and he was killed when his motorbike came off the road and into the side of a cliff. Still brings tears to my eyes even now, what a waste of a young life

Dire Straits - Walk of Life - this was in the charts when I was about 8mths pregnant with my oldest son. Hubby was in the army at the time and we used to go to the Squadron bar most evenings. The barman always used to put it on the jukebox as it made darling son bounce around in my belly much to the amusement of the young single lads. still makes me smile when I hear it

perhaps standing more than six inches from the jukebox may have helped ;)

PMSL didn't matter where I was - don't know whether the jiggling around was to say he liked it or hated it! He was 9 1/2 lbs born and I was barely a size 10 - as you can imagine when he moved my whole belly squirmed - yuk! sorry, TMI
