Message widths

Why are some queries like this and others are like this. Wears me bloody mouse wheel out, don't ya know !!

Most of these forum sites seem to allow the width to increase when there are photos. It would be better if they automatically adjusted the resolution to fit the photos on the screen but no doubt there are technical reasons why this is not done.

There's more to it than photos - though that's probably the cause in the example you gave.
Way back, something I did forced the horizontal scrolling thing.
Then I edited my post, and it was OK again.
Sadly, I have no idea now what exactly I had done. But it was obvious to me at the time how I could edit my post to make it OK again.
If I remember in the next 12 hours, I will post again.

I think 'tis generally wider images or combinations which cause the problem.
Of course if using Opera browser, just click in 'Fit to width' box and job done, no problem ....
