I've just had my windows and guttering replaced. Is there an improvement on this contraption? It all runs into the one drain so can't I just have two branch pipes into the main downpipe?

Are there regulations over this? The installer is FENSA registered and says it has to be like that but I'd like something much simpler. Thanks

Yes it would be better if the right pipe blended into the left one through a branch (Y piece). I cant see a pipe bracket securing the right pipe, does it move about in the hopper?

Fensa has nothing to do with roofline/rainwater, only windows. :)

OMG, this is exactly the same krap job you posted about a few days ago, with picture too.

Why, oh why, did you let this cowboy back to do exactly the same thing again?

Sorry! The moderator moved it from the windows forum - seeing as the window installer went on about how much he knew about windows and guttering I'd put the question there too.

The guttering has since been changed to a simpler arrangement with branch pipes but the window guy isn't happy that I paid someone else to alter his masterpiece
