I've seen a number of posts where folk have complained at cleaning plastic roller trays. There are inserts that one can get but these weren't to my liking.
Personally i find the trays a pain to clean... paint sticks to the little bubbles and even using a paint brush to rub round them seems to take longer than one would like.
I think i found a good solution; a metal baking dish (10 x 7 ins) and a nail plate (small bolts used to secure it and provide the slope. Nice and easy to clean and should cost about £2.50. Nail plates are available in many sizes at hard ware shops. A slightly deeper baking dish would be better - the current one holds about four times the paint a small plastic tray holds. I did try a mini roller scuttle [Draper and Lynwood] but still preferred the baking dish.
