Metal Studwork Supplier in Hull, pref near Clough Rd or HU6

Hi,

I need Metal studwork for the project of soundproofing a party wall in our bedroom. I really want to collect it locally. Any idea of stockists? We have quite a few industrial sheds around Stoneferry and Clough Rd near me in Hull but I don't know which to visit, having not tackled this level of DIY before, though from what I can see, it should be achievable.

Also any estimates of how long it would take to tackle this project on a 11' 2" (3.4m) wide wall x 8' 10 (2.46m) high ceiling.

You could call British Gypsum and ask where the nearest supplier is?

or if you have Wickes close by, they normally stock metal stud.
The other alternative is call the local builders merchants to see if they stock it, rather than going out of your way, travelling to find some.
Depending on your level of skill and the tools you have available, the stud work, insulation and boarding out, should quite easily be done in the day.
Then a second day for the plaster skim.
