I have one of these el-cheapo DIY outlet torches, and would like to get to the re-chargeable battery for investigation and replacement. It currently works for less than 30 mins between charges. It's quite a nice pocket size, so would like to get some use rather than binning it. This one is branded Dekton, but the design seems quite generic.
It looks like the back end (with the push switch, USB connector, and lanyard fixing) is the way in. Can anyone confirm this is correct and suggest any way to overcome what looks like glue/sealant and some locking punch marks.
The COB LED side window is removable and exposes the battery and some wires, but there is no useful access.
I suppose the slide-focus lens front end might somehow 'pop' off, so other suggestions welcome.
