Apparently there will be a meteor shower tonight at about midnight. as usual its bl**dy cloudy so we won't see a thing.

You didn't miss anything: I was awake at 3.00 and got up at 4.00, sat at the lounge window for 20 minutes staring at the stars and only saw two - or rather, I missed two because you never see them, you just see the flash in the part of the sky where you're not looking.
