Mid terrace valley

The valley needs replacing neighbour has a leak a roofer they had look at it said the problem lies with me, should it not be joint responsibility. Any help appreciated.

I’ve lived there for approximately 16 years so it was done before that.
 
Another frontal photo of the property would be useful as it will show orientation of the houses in relation to the valley although as far as the valley goes it needs replacing as the overlaid lead is doing nothing to stop water that travels off the tiles so suprised it has not leaked into yours too really.

No I have had no leaks I will take a couple of more photos tomorrow morning, thanks for replying

Not exactly clear but am i right in saying that the entire valley is on your roof and the valley outlet spills onto the neighbours roof ?
 
That's mad. The lead was doing nothing for all those years!

Whoever occupies the roof space below that valley is responsible for it.
