my conservatory company say i needed nothing other than a polite letter to inform the neighbour of our development in building a conservatory.

i have just read somewhere on my local borough planning portal that i need written acceptance from the neighbour for me to build? due to it being a mid terrace house
please advise
I have spoken to a nice chap at local planning just now ( monday morning ) and the system is down just now in the planning office, so he will call me back later on with advice when it is up and running again

Ok.. for those that might want to know, I did not need to get the ok from my neighbour

the planning portal was a little lame with the info re a mid terrace house.
but they got back to me and stated if i work within the dim's and spec's of the planning portal layout it will not be a problem what so ever.
