Miele washer display reads 69h?

Hi,

We had some power outages here and now our Miele w1986 washer wont run properly.

The display that usually shows something like 50m for a 50 minute wash now reads 69h upon powering on. And after an hour passes it counts down to 68h, 67h, etc.

Does anyone know what this behaviour means? It seems to be stuck in a 70 hour countdown upon powering on. Would it work again after the time has counted down all the way?

We unplugged the washer for a few hours to hopefully reset it but the same problem occurs. Is there a way to force a reset? How could this problem be repaired?

Any help would be very appreciated

It sounds like it's on a delayed start but it shouldn't be possible to delay the start more than 24 hours.
I presume you have tried holding the delay start button down to see if it resets.

How old is the washer?
I would try ringing Miele during daylight hours (0845 365 6600) and asking them.
