Might movement in insulation cause screed to crack? (Ed.)

How often do you see failure in screed above when insulation below has moved due to the insulation rocking on an uneven concrete floor below?



This is one of my main concerns, as it worries me that 60mm of screed isn't a lot. How well would it hold out if the insulation moved?



Do you have any tips on laying out insulation to prevent this.

Wouldn't putting some SLC down before the insulation prevent these issues? That's assuming the slabs are stable and not moving.
