Hi guys. I have a shower that started off with hot water going through cold section.. that was fixed after a few years.. then the hot water was way too hot (wasn't mixing at all) now its not getting any hot water even though the tub tap has both hot and cold which is where the supply for the shower is.
i have see online about replacing the Thermostatic cartridge but i failed at the step where the handle slides out.. i have remove the nut(Allen key) but the handle does not slide out.
i have also noticed that the button on the Thermostatic handle is stuck and does not budge. I have socked it with limescale(my house is notorious for it) removal spray but i still will not move.
i need to take it out to see and purchase a cartridge replacement. Any help would be welcomed
