Hi guys!

Number 2 has played Minecraft on an old PC running XP. No problems until recently, now it's coming back with

"Bad Video Card Drivers"

Tried to update them, no joy, the update process fails.

Tried to alter the graphics acceleration settings as suggested on YouTube, no joy. The slider was inactive.

Can't understand how it can work for ages, then suddenly fails??

Does anyone have any suggestions, apart from Number 2's "why don't you buy another computer, Dad?"

ATI Rage 128 Pro II.


Tried updating driver, always fails.

Just can't understand why it worked all this time, then suddenly fails. Makes me think it's not the driver but something else?

If that doesn't work, well.. The 90s were over a long time ago.

I hate inanimate things getting the better of me...

I might delete the current driver and reinstall what you've linked to.

The display driver is not compatible with the display device........

Remind me how to delete the video card driver. I can't find it.

I'll try reinstalling it.
