I have a low concrete retaining wall and a 1.7 meter (5.6ft) section is failing. It's 25cm (10inch) tall and 15cm (6 inch) wide.

The wall retains a slope that holds terraced veg beds. The wall is 1920s era and about 15m / 50ft in total.

The section that has failed looks deteriorated compared to the rest, with lots of the aggregate showing, and looks like there's been previous repair attempts.

I'm not that concerned about it failing, however, wifey wants to have a gravel walkway around the veg beds. As the wall has sunk, it'll make the gravel walkway tricky here as it's not level.

Please see pictures.

Please can I have advice on how to repair?

My first naive plan is remove the leaning section between A and B, make some shuttering and pour a load of concrete in there? Would I need to tie it into each end? Seems like a lot of effort I don't really want to do.

My second, far lazier plan, is clean it up, epoxy the cracks and bring the wall back to level at section A with some cement. I'm slightly concerned this won't last and the wall has quite a lean.

I welcome all advice and suggestions to repair.

Good idea but won't pass the wife's gaze, as its only a small section of the wall...
