Minimum penetration distance of toilet spigot into soil pipe?

Pan Connector onto pan outlet as far as it'll go, then finned end into soil pipe as far as it'll go, otherwise you risk it leaking. What is the issue?
What is the minimum distance you have inserted into pan connector and not got any leaks?
Same question; what is the minimum insertion distance where you have achieved successful install? Also, what do you mean by "finned end into soil pipe?"

Such that the rubber sealing ring is 10mm onto the toilet spigot after all stretching and deforming is taken into account. If you want, create a bead of silicone around the tip of the spigot and let it cure. This way after you have installed the rubber sealing ring of the connector so it has gone past the bead it won't slide back off (because the bead makes the diameter of the spigot larger all the way round

The other end of the pan connector slides into a 110mm(probably) soil pipe. That end of the pan connector should have a gasket that looks like a wide rubber band with several fins of rubber around it
At least one of these needs to be fully hidden inside the pipe, but the more the better
If you're struggling for distance, extend the soil pipe or buy a longer connector. Don't fit a flexor connector so stretched that it is always trying to shrink, pulling on its connections as it does so
