Mira agile won't stop running

Good afternoon all,

We have a mira agile valve that runs off our combi, it keeps running when turned off and just won't stop, I have no isolator aside from the stop cock so it's just keeps leaking at the moment!

I have taken it apart and have changed the cartridge to a new one, but it's still doing it, any ideas welcome please? The cartridge only fits in one way, it's slotted with different sized slots for top and bottom, so I know it's in the right way.

Could it be anything else? The valve is empty aside from the cartridge.

your mains water pressure is not excessive is it ?

It isn't, no.

I've tried to turn the stop cock right down too, and still happens

Turning stopcock down will only reduce flow not pressure.

How would I tell? I assume there is a meter of some sort? Might have to call in the experts!

Would pressure vary from house to house on a new estate? Thanks

buy a water pressure gauge do it yourself on outside tap.
screwfix or toolstation do them.
