You can always wrap in a cloth soaked in white vinegar and wrap with plastic bag to preent it drying out.This will descale head and may free up if choked with limescale.
That seemed to clear the shower head fine.
I had hoped that doing that would improve the water flow and temperature of water. I have also cleaned the internal filters, and increased the hot tank supply temperature but the mixer temperature is still only warm.
Could the problem be the thermostatic cartridge and if so how do you test that it is working OK? I am loath to buy a new one at around £100 only to find it's not the problem.
Any advice would be welcomed.
