I wish to replace the above unit with a simple shower mixer. Has anyone completed a successful conversion? The existing hot and cold feed is easily accessible, or should I just use a bath mixer-shower arrangement seen in the modern new build homes and Hotels. Ideas on this one would be welcomed. At the moment the shower is situated half way up the wall with a shower curtain closing off the bath when showering.
