I've been sent an extended guarantee by Mira for my year old shower. The cost is £34.00 for 3 years extended.parts and labour exctera.I know that this is not a vast amount to pay but how costly can a shower valve be to repair and do they go faulty very often. regards.
Cost of a cartridge is approx £75 (I changed one recently) and then you have labour on top maybe £40-£50.
I would think that each cartridge would last for a few yrs tho.
Insurance is a gamble, you bet you do, they bet you don't
