mira sport electric shower

Hey all,
I currently have a Mira Sport 9.5kw electric shower that my wife wants replacing as its all gone yellow. (it prob about 8yrs old).

Does anyone know if i buy the new mira sport (or another similar Mira) whether the plumbing and electrics will be the same?

I'm trying to just get away with minimal work and minimal cost and if possible avoid the cost of getting an expert in.

I would take a picture of the insides of your shower, making sure it's switched off. And have a look down at your local DIY store and ask, if they can open one up, on display or box to check.

Yes a new sport will fit.
post 2006 model, or the new post 2011 model.

Miras have the elecs/plumbing on the l/h side.

Where do you get the 9.5 from sports come in 7.5, 9.0, 9.8, 10.8.

Thanks for the advice - You're right its a 9.0Kw and not a 9.5kw.

If i go for one of the uprated ones (higher Kw) am i ok with the electrics as it already looks like a heavy duty cable.
