Mira Sport shower playing up...

Hello! I'm new to the forums, and wondering if anyone can help...

I have a Mira Sport 9.8kW shower (about five years old), which has recently started making an awful squealing noise when on, the low flow light occasionally comes on, and the output flow itself is less than it was.

If I crank the temp right up, it stutters and the hot water runs cold for a couple of seconds before getting hot again.

I've removed and checked the inlet filter, which was clear.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Cheers. Would that explain the painful screaming noise? I've heard that the heater tank can also go on the blink (especially in a hard water area).

ball valve in the header tank can do, but your shower should be fed off the mains water not header tank.

Yes that's right, it comes direct from the mains.
