HI All,
First time here! Total newcomer to plumbing also.
I'm trying to fit a Mira Sprint Shower which has a plastic swivel arm for the cold water inlet, shown in image 1.
I was hoping to use rear entry to fit the shower, of which the mira manual says:
I was originally planning on connecting the shower as shown in diagram two, with a straight connector, but reckon this flies in the face of the advice above. NOte that the arm is parallel to the horizontal.
So, should i instead be doing in the fashion shown in diagram 3, with the elbow attached to the swivel arm?
In both cases, the pushfit elbow is for connecting to the mains water pipe.
Finally, will the plastic inlet on the the shower require a pipe insert?
Thanks for all help in advance.
Richard

"NOTE : For back inlet, the connection to the inlet connector must still be made from the top or bottom via a bend"
