Mira vision shower problem

Hi ! Wondering if anyone can offer any advice. I had my mira vision digital shower installed 3 weeks ago with no problems. This morning it stopped working and won't switch on with the wireless controller. The controller is only showing the time and the 'out of signal' symbol no matter how close or far away it is. Iv tried replacing batteries, checked fuses, switched off and back on. I also tried to 're-register' the controller as recommended by the instructions by pressing the on and + buttons however it always ends in 'err' being shown. The instructions also suggest recommissioning the controller but give no instructions how to do this? Or how to do a signal test? Whenever I try to re register I can hear the shower making a noise which suggests sin al is being reached but for some reason keeps failing. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me crazy! Tia x
