Mira Zest no flow

We have a mira zest that refuses to flow unless we give it a thump ! Could it be a sticky valve or do we need to replace ? Any advice appreciated.

The Flow switch is faulty , you can buy replacement from mira.(part no 439.77 i think but check first.) but if you cant fit it yourself it may be cheaper to get a complete unit and fit that yourself.
