Hello all I'm re laying a bit of patio near the shed (nothing special).

I have 3/4 tonne of 10mm gravel/ agregate to use up so was planning to mix this 3 parts Gravel 1 part Concrete plus a little water to make it workable.

Is there anything wrong with this idea before I get going at it this morning?.

It will just have foot traffic and wheelbarrow..

Thanks for any comments, Keith.

You really need some sharp sand in with the gravel to make concrete and 3:1cement is too strong ;)

You could add 1/2ton of sharp sand.

I've done rough levelling with 10mm compacted gravel then final leveling with 1 part cement to 4 parts sharp sand.

Seems to have done the trick!.
