Sorry to sound like a suck-up here, but you do get a lot of posts at both extremes of the political spectrum here, so it really doesn't ring true to say that the mods delete anything that doesn't fit in with their narrow range of views. The only time that threads get locked or deleted is when they really descend into hatred or foaming-mouthed abuse.
Some of the auto-censor actions can make some posts a bit meaningless, especially when you have words with more than one meaning being used in their more benign sense, but its not really worth getting that worked up about, is it ??

Yes it is worth getting worked up about, and it is worth shouting to the mods about and it is worth everybody protesting loud and hard about it all the time.
It's a coarse and unthinking way of "managing" the use of language on the forum, and it destroys the ability of people to properly communicate facts, ideas and opinions.

How about if the auto-censor took out maybe the top two or three words on the sweary ladder, and everything else was down to the discretion when they come to look over these things later on ? That way the all-important notion of context would be introduced into things.......
Context is vital.
There are some words that are only swear-words, and they could be auto-censored. I don't really agree with it, as I don't believe that people really are so precious that the use of them is going to cause genuine upset, nor that there will be many who've not heard the words before, and know what they mean, but at least the rule makes sense.
But the current situation is ludicrous.
MODS - why not post your exclusion list here, and see how many people agree with you.
