We are about to move (if the flippin' solicitors ever get their act together) to a new house. It has a decent, relatively recent, sectional concrete garage which we want to use as a workshop/utility space. Unfortunately it was built with an up-and-over door only with no side door.
From what I can see the concrete sections interlock. If I were to unbolt a couple of sections would there be enough movement to "hinge" these apart to allow a door frame to be fitted? Also I am not sure what the arrangement is where the panels meet the roof. This might well restrict movement.
Has anyone done this?
If I have to resort to cutting panels I will but I'm hoping there may be some trick available.
Cheers.
