Mohair rollers

Hello,

I am doing a project where the instructions say use a mini mohair roller. I know mohair is wool but tjese days rollers are synthetic. So if I want to buy a synthetic "mohair style" roller, are all fuzzy gloss rollers the equivalent of mohair or should I buy one that specifically mentions it is simulated mohair?
