Moisture on inside plaster by window

I have an issue with moisture on the inside of a window on the plaster. I thought it was a window to brick seal issues. I had someone to come out and has told me I need a new window that I struggle to believe. Can anyone give some advice please?

Show us the outside please. You may need to hold the camera out of the window to show the joint into the brickwork. All round.

very hard to ascertain from those pictures if there are any issues outside. Usually resealing the outside soves something like this BUT there may be bigger issues at play . The last resort is to replace the window in my opinion
