Mono couches through coloured render

Has anyone any first hand (actual) experience of having the above done to their house?
Is it any good?
Is it true that it gets dirty looking/covered in algae?
Is it better than sand/cement render?

Been using it for years.
thru colour no faffing about getting guages right.
Breathable.
Havent noticed any problems with algae or discolouration even in north facing elevations.
Bit more expensive than traditional rendering, including the beads.
Depending on the substrate possible need meshed out.
All in all much preffered to s+c
