well, what a day
"Mr plumber, can you sort out some leaks on my bathroom suite"
yes no problem
this suite is new (only months old)
doughnut leaked
cistern not screwed, but siliconed to the wall (not a small blob, but all over)
bath trap leaks and covered in plumbers mait
customer wants a shower, cheked the bath taps...need re doing as water will get down the holes left by the master fitter (1st week of a £6000 plumbing course springs to mind)
basin monoblock leaks as the threaded pipes not screwed in properly
oh..bath not secured to the wall..and dancing around..

Anyone here recognise this work ??!! ;)

300mm hacksaw blade does the trick for me,

As for botch jobs I see them all the time....especially when builders have gutted a house and done everything themselves.

from a previous "silicone" job i have one of those cheap flexi kitchen knives that "never" need sharpening....
well, it snaped at the handle today !!
