New rules for wearing a face nappy come into place Saturday.I copied&pasted this list.
Places where you will have to wear a face covering from Saturday are:

  • Places of worship

  • Cinemas and theatres

  • Bingo halls

  • Museums and galleries

  • Funeral directors

  • Massage parlours

  • Concert halls

  • Libraries and public reading rooms

  • Community centres

  • Social clubs

  • Public areas in hotels and hostels

  • Aquariums, indoor zoos or visitor farms

  • Tattoo and piercing parlours

  • Indoor entertainment venues

  • Nail, beauty, hair salons and barbers

  • Auction houses

  • Veterinary services

  • Storage and distribution facilities

  • Premises providing professional, legal or financial services

On this list is Social clubs. Can anyone tell me why it will be mandatory in them but not pubs, as the two are pretty similar in operation ? Bit hard to drink a pint of bitter with your mouth covered.I was looking forward to getting back to mine for a few pints and a game of darts.

Because a social club has a defined membership, whereas a pub(lic house) is open to all and sundry?

Because social club members might be considered to be more likely to know each other, social distancing is less likely to be practised?

Or, just more inconsistent, illogical, and ill-conceived cobblers?

Take you pick(y)

If masks only protect other people from the wearer (in some reports but not others) what happens if you wear them the other way round?

Not even if someone is behind you?

This woman hasn't grasped the concept of masks.

Heard on the radio a scientist put it quiet simply.
"Wear a mask or risk another lockdown. Your choice."

Sounds about right.

That will be another lock down then.
You can't force people to wear the face nappies.
And thankfully many people are not. From what I.
am seeing.

I wonder if you will still be thankful if you test positive at some time in the near future.
It's people with your attitude that are helping to prolong this issue.

  • WHO officials do not recommend mask wearing for healthy members of the general population.
  • Masks should be worn by those with the disease or those in close contact with those infected.
That was back in March.
Now we have the scientists threatening us with "lockdown" if we don't comply.
And the government threatening us with fines if we don't kow tow accordingly.
