Mortar cracks. Are these concerning or should they be repointed?

Hi all,

We are in the final stages of buying a 1960’s Bungalow and after a further viewing have noticed a fine crack following the mortar joint stepping up. The wall is south facing and there is a soil waste pipe and sink waste pipe above the crack and an old boiler outlet coming through the wall under it. The crack starts near the lead flashing near a small storage building attached to the corner. I’m not sure if this building was added at a later date, but believe it has been there since the late 80’s from a picture I’ve seen. Inside the storage building it looks like a previous opening was bricked in unless they changed bricks, but it all looks solid within there and no cracks. The property has been empty for probably 5 years and unlikely any work has been carried out since the 90’s apart from the cavity wall insulations which has left mortar circles all over the place..

Any advice on if I should be concerned or if it’s best to repoint appreciated
