I am installing small square glass mosaic tile sheets. I have stuck the plastic backer sheet on them but was still having difficulties installing them. So I had an idea to spread a thin layer of bal adhesive on the back of the tiles just thick enough to fill between the gaps in the plastic backer, I was then going to put some primer on this after it had gone off before then attempting to put the sheets up. Can anyone see any problems in doing this, has anyone else tried it this way, hopefully it should stop adhesive pushing out between the glass and also stiffen sheets up.
Thanks Victor
