moss on fence

Hello,

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get moss off the fence? Its only in the shady parts of the garden or where the water can sit after rainfall but its just unsightly. I am looking at painting the fence bank holiday weekend if the weather is nice or just before but I would like to clear it up first.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

Can you get a pressure washer somewhere near? If you can, use that, allow things to dry in the wind and then treat with a Sadolin product.

Thanks I will be painting it with Ronseal which I currently have in the garage and what is already on there. I am curious why the moss is making its way up the fence it seems strange.
