Hi I am clearing an area prior to laying artificial grass. Much of the area is covered in gravel/chips. Can I lay the mot type on on top of a thin layer of this before I compact it down?

I’ve ran out of space in my skip for the rest of the chips so thought this would save me hiring another one!

Thanks

For concreting over?
Depends on the size of your chips and what they are. I daresay it won't be an issue, maybe rake it all in to mix with the MOT.

Thanks I’ll try and mix the stones into the type 1.

Part of the area is covered in grass so once I’ve dug that out I’ll need some type 1 to build it back up so can’t really just use sharp sand as would be too thick a layer I think
